Meet adorable little 2 year old Tegan and her 'baby'. So, so very precious. And that Matilda Jane dress, so perfect! This little blonde head of curls is as beautiful as the sweet sunset radiating behind her. Tegan and 'baby' made wishes amongst this Fort Collins, Colorado field, just below these gorgeous Rocky Mountains. I am in love. I could photograph her every step. Those big, bright eyes and little button nose, she was the light of my evening. As a Fort Collins Colorado photographer, I couldn't dream of a more perfect dream job. I am so very lucky.

Where do I even begin with these beautiful ladies? They are gorgeous, polite, quite but goofy, full of life, and have the kindest hearts. Tallie, the oldest of the three, she couldn't be more of a sweetheart. Her gorgeous mama describes her country girl as strong willed, independent, and is determined to be successful in all that she does. Oh how I look up to this girl! She loves sports, baking, and photography (a girl after my own heart!), and has 6 pigs in 4-H. SIX!!! What a hard working chick. And that grin, how how gorgeous.

Taryn, at eight she is asked if she is the oldest. I even made the same mistake! She's one tall beauty. With a huge heart, she is quiet and shy, but a care-taker to all. Taryn loves to use her imagination in all things creative. She loves to sing to her favorite tunes, and spending time with her family and friends. She's a sweetheart! And soooo adorable.

Now Tavie, this little love-bug, she's too cute. As the youngest, she tries to keep up with her older sisters, following their every footstep :) Her mother shared that she is her own perfect blend of both Tallie and Taryn. Although she was quite camera shy, she let out a smile when I asked her if she was 5 years old. You see, when she turns five, she will be able to do whatever she wants to! She loves animals, cooking, doing laundry (haha :) ), feeding the pigs and chickens, and walking the dogs. She loves to help!

I have fallen in love with each of these girls, each unique in their own way. Their personalities shine through those gorgeous smiles. I cannot wait to see them again soon! I wish each of them the best of luck in the rest of their busy summer :)

let's play hide-and-seek | children photo session

Oh, how I fell in love instantly with little Elise and Everley. And those names, oh my goodness, how gorgeous. The girls and I ventured into this gorgeous field of green, already beginning the session with giggles (I guess Everley's name was Tom, I guess I was wrong ;) ). Elise guided her little sister through a trail, holding her hand every step of the way. They even spotted a little kitty cat named Oliver, they thought it was quite funny when he tried to be in their photo. As we made out on our adventure, we also made time to play hide-and-seek. I must say these brown-eyed girls are the queens at that game.

These are the sweetest little two, and I am very glad to have met them. I cannot wait to see them again someday soon!

These pretty freckled faces, with gorgeous red locks, and bright blue eyes were full of giggles during their session. Curious as ever, they ventured around the location, searching for the perfect dandelion to make a wish upon. They had hugs galore, and love for one another that was never ending. They shared silly stories, and had sweet butterfly kisses for one another, making for this most precious photograph. I am in love! Capturing their pure innocent joy of a simple nose kiss, it's these small things that make the world so beautiful. It was as if the world stopped during this moment, and the only sound was a sisterly giggle.

Those scrunched up little noses, and irreplaceable smiles have got me head-over-heels for these two!

the love of a sister | kid's photo session

Talk about gorgeous hair?! As soon as I met these wonderful little ladies, I knew it ran in the family. Their mother is simply gorgeous, with hair to die for! So beautiful (I'm so jealous if you can't tell)! These sisters are beyond precious. Even after meeting them for the first time for their session, I felt as though I had known them for years. They had stories to share all day, curious, and outspoken. Except the oldest of the three, although she is by far the most quiet, I could see she has a heart of gold! Fixing her little sister's hair, and guiding their every step, she is a caretaker. How lucky are her sisters to have her :) The other two... little balls of fire!

I was attached to these charming girls 5 minutes into their session. Amongst the wildflowers and blue Fort Collins, Colorado sky, their beauty reflects in their photos. It was such a joy to meet them, and their sweet mother!

Beautiful is amongst only one word I would use to describe these two little ladies. Beautiful, curious, smart, charming... As you can see through these images, they make my heart sing. From the moment I met these sister's, I knew instantly how their session would play out. By letting them run free. Under the gorgeous Colorado sky, these two ran hand-in-hand amongst the field of flowers. With the beautiful Rocky Mountains in the background, I couldn't imagine a better backdrop. As a Colorado photographer, how lucky am I to live somewhere so beautiful?

After a quick few photographs of these two with their loving parents, these sisters were ready to go on their own adventure. They shared with me how much they love each other (so sweet), and how even though they were step-siblings, they were best friends. Their endless hugs and sweet souls captured my heart. I found happiness in their happiness, and freedom in their free spirits running wild.

They made friends with a nearby baby bunny, the same one they saw at Costco earlier that day ;) We came to the conclusion that he didn't want to miss out on their session, and would follow them home. :)
