I love my job. I love newborn photos. I love this family. I love baby Harper. As a close friend to this family, I must say they are one of the most amazing families I have had the privilege of knowing. We arranged to have their session in the beautiful home that this gorgeous mama grew up in. I was so excited for this lifestyle newborn session, there is something so personal about photographing a session within your own home. I was welcomed by the loving grandparents of this little babe with open arms and a hot cup of coffee (they know me too well!).
Although I have had many, many iPhone photos sent my way of this little babe from her proud Aunt Natalie, it was my first time meeting Harper. Instantly she made a special place in my heart! Her charming little smile, her big bright eyes, that head of hair, and flawless skin, she couldn't be more perfect. Oh, and those tiny fingers and toes, oh my! As I began to photograph every sweet detail, I fell more and more in love. I may have spent more time holding her tight, swaying her to sleep than the moments I was photographing her newborn photos. I could have sat there all day.
From start to finish, this baby girl's parents had such huge smiles on their faces. I couldn't be happier for them, and for the life they have begun.
Harper Louise, you are so very loved. I am so excited to be a part of your life, and cannot wait to watch your grow and grow.
