This newborn photography session, oh dear, I could jump up and down with excitement Actually, I already have many times ;). I absolutely loved this baby session, loved getting to know this wonderful couple, and loved getting to meet their little man. World, welcome Alden Darrow. Born on February 16th, 2016 weighing 7lbs 10oz and 20in long, he's got it all. He is perfect. I traveled to this beautiful Boulder home and was welcomed with open arms. One of the many perks of being a Colorado newborn photographer is being able to travel to your home to photograph your session. Something about walking through those doors to eyes sparkling (even with lack of sleep), smiles huge, and your little addition in your arms, it's magical. And it get's my heart every time. I just might cry, so grab the tissues before I arrive.

I cannot wait to watch this family grow, and continue to document their sweet life full of joy. xo

It's that time again, time for a whole brand spankin' new year. Who's excited?! I am. While the year 2015 treated me amazingly well, and was a chunk of my life I will forever remember, I am thrilled for what is to come! I have a few resolutions, or as I like to say, goals:

• strive for happiness, not perfection

• keep a healthy mind and healthy body
• more Jesus everyday
• travel to places I've never been, near or far
• try new things big and small
• be thankful everyday
• hug more

Say hello to this little peanut. Norah Ingrid was welcomed into the world on the 8th of October at 9:47pm, weighing 8 lbs 7 oz and 20 1/4 inches long.
